Collin Holloway began playing guitar at the age of nine in his hometown of Oklahoma City. Recognized as a burgeoning talent from an early age—with his first solo recital receiving two standing ovations—he began studying with Matthew Denman before pursuing higher education at the Eastman School of Music under the tutelage of Thomas Viloteau and Nicholas Goluses.

Collin’s performing experience is extensive, having toured across much of the United States and Spain as a soloist and as part of various ensembles. He has appeared at prestigious festivals and venues including Austin City Limits, CHAMBERart Madrid, and the Celedonio Romero Guitar Institute. Most recently, he was selected as a soloist to premiere the work "Malagueña de Jotron" at the Armstrong Theater alongside the renowned Los Romeros Guitar Quartet, in addition to appearing with the Juliani Ensemble.

As a musician, Collin strives to bring to life the intimate nature and inherent poetry of the guitar through a beautiful tone and sensitive touch. This artistry is central to his debut album, A Musical Portrait, which features rare works by Angelo Gilardino and Graciela Agudelo alongside other seminal compositions.

An adamant performer of chamber music, Collin is one half of The Muse Duo, a guitar and piano ensemble formed at the Eastman School of Music with pianist and composer Luke Benedict. Their debut album, Experiments, was released in April 2023 and was accompanied by a national tour. Additionally, Collin is a co-founder of the Off the Dock Chamber Festival in Skaneateles, NY, an organization dedicated to supporting emerging artists and ensembles.
