Holden Turner

Holden Turner is a Rochester-based baritone recognized for his powerful stage presence and artistic depth. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, where he studied under the acclaimed Nicole Cabell, he has quickly established himself as a rising talent in both the operatic and concert worlds.


His performance credits include featured soloist appearances with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Finger Lakes Opera, and the Rochester Oratorio Society. In the summer of 2024, he was selected as a Vocal Fellow at the Tanglewood Music Festival, performing under the baton of world-class conductors like Andris Nelsons. His versatility has allowed him to collaborate with a diverse range of artists, from legendary soprano Dawn Upshaw to genre-defying musician Jon Batiste.


Turner is a distinguished recipient of the William Warfield Scholarship and the Rochester Links Organization’s “Young, Gifted & Black” Scholarship. An active performer in the Central New York region, he has been a featured artist with the Off The Dock Chamber Festival and has served as a soloist for major works with the Eastman Philharmonia and the Eastman-Rochester Chorus.
