Kodachrome is a multi-award-winning saxophone quartet founded by four graduate students from Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, Arizona. Since forming in 2022, Kodachrome has received 1st Prizes in the 10th Coltman Chamber Music Competition and the 10th Plowman Chamber Music Competition, and most notably the Gold Medal at the 50th Fischoff Chamber Music Competition. In August 2023, the ensemble was invited to represent the U.S. at the Chengdu International Sister City Music Festival held in Chengdu, China. They subsequently performed and taught throughout the Midwest during the Double Gold Tour, sponsored by the Fischoff Chamber Music Association, and were recently named finalists for the esteemed Walter W. Naumburg Foundation Chamber Music Competition.

The quartet enjoys playing all genres of music, with a primary focus on collaborating with composers who move the instrument forward. Recently, Kodachrome was awarded the 2024 Classical Commissioning Grant from Chamber Music America and is looking forward to their upcoming collaboration with composer Julie Zhu. Additionally, the ensemble participates annually in the PRISMS Contemporary Music Festival, collaborating with contemporary composers to premiere new works for saxophone quartet and various chamber ensembles. Kodachrome is dedicated to sharing their music within the Greater Phoenix Area and abroad, building a strong community through performance. The founding members are Calvin Wong (soprano saxophone), Jade Deatherage (alto saxophone), Siobhan Plouffe (tenor saxophone), and Bonson Lee (baritone saxophone).
