Collin Holloway

Co-Artistic Director & Founding Member

Collin Holloway is an award-winning classical guitarist known for his sensitive touch and dedication to the intimate, poetic nature of his instrument. As the Co-Artistic Director of Off The Dock Chamber Festival, Collin works to highlight the vibrancy of chamber music and create meaningful opportunities for the next generation of professional performers.

International Performance & Artistry
An Oklahoma City native, Collin’s career has taken him to major stages across the United States and Europe. His extensive performance history includes:

International Festivals: Featured performances at Austin City Limits, CHAMBERart Madrid, and the Celedonio Romero Guitar Institute.

Collaborations: Most recently, Collin was selected as a soloist to premiere Malagueña de Jotron at the Armstrong Theater alongside the world-renowned Los Romeros Guitar Quartet.

Recorded Works: His debut solo album, A Musical Portrait, features rare and seminal works by composers such as Angelo Gilardino and Graciela Agudelo, showcasing his commitment to expanding the guitar repertoire.

Chamber Music & The Muse Duo
Collin is a founding member of The Muse Duo, a rare guitar-and-piano ensemble formed at the Eastman School of Music with pianist Robert Luke Benedict. The duo is dedicated to championing new music for their unique instrumentation, having toured the U.S. extensively following the 2023 release of their debut album, Experiments.

Pedagogy & Education
Collin’s rigorous training includes degrees from the Eastman School of Music and the University of Kentucky, studying under masters such as Thomas Viloteau, Nicholas Goluses, and Dieter Hennings. He was also selected for private study in Vercelli, Italy, with the legendary Angelo Gilardino.

Through his leadership at Off The Dock, Collin brings this high standard of global artistry back to Skaneateles, fostering a festival environment where emerging artists and established professionals can collaborate and inspire audiences through the power of chamber music.
