Natalie Pang

Co-Founder & Artistic and Media Director

Natalie Pang is a Los Angeles-based pianist, music theorist, and educator. As the Co-Founder and Artistic and Media Director of Off The Dock Chamber Festival, Natalie combines her passion for high-level performance with a mission to provide a platform for emerging young professionals.

Performance & Collaboration
An accomplished collaborative and solo artist, Natalie is currently on staff at the Colburn School in Los Angeles. Her versatile performance career spans genres and stages, including:

Classical Excellence: A first-prize winner of the Canadian Music Competition National Finals and the Crescendo International Music Festival, with solo recitals performed across North America.

Versatility: Keyboardist for LA-based R&B vocalist D.Green and an active accompanist for instrumentalists and choirs throughout Southern California.

Innovation: An avid songwriter and composer, Natalie has written viral hits for the YouTube/TikTok production "Pixel Playhouse," creating original mini-musicals for a global digital audience.

Academic Distinction & Research
Natalie is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music, holding a Master of Music in Piano Performance and a Master of Arts in Music Theory Pedagogy. A member of the Pi Kappa Lambda honorary society, she studied under world-renowned pianists Alexander Kobrin and Rebecca Penneys.

Beyond the keyboard, Natalie is a respected music theorist. Her research on music semiology and Schenkerian analysis has led her to present at international forums, including the 150th Anniversary Scriabin Conference in Reading, UK.

Vision & Education
With over a decade of teaching experience across Montreal, Rochester, and Los Angeles, Natalie is committed to the development of the next generation of musicians. Her work with Off The Dock reflects this dedication, as she oversees the artistic direction and digital presence of the festival, ensuring that classical music remains vibrant, accessible, and forward-thinking.

When not at the piano, Natalie can be found running, biking, or exploring the unique sounds of the theremin.
