Stephen Thomas

Stephen J. Thomas, MD, is a physician-scientist, educator, and strategic leader at SUNY Upstate Medical University, where he serves as SUNY Distinguished Professor and Director of the Global Health Institute. He is honored to serve on the Board of Directors of Off the Dock Chamber Festival and brings a strong record of service to organizations that strengthen community, learning, and public well-being. His board experience
includes Byrne Dairy, the Woodhall School, the Onondaga County Health Department Advisory Board, and prior service with the Skaneateles Festival, the Skaneateles YMCA, the Skaneateles Library, and the Central New York Lyme and Tick-Borne Disease Alliance. Across medicine, research, and service, he has focused on building partnerships and improving lives.
