Aria Knechtges

Piano

Barely in her teen years, Aria Knechtges is a commanding young artist who has performed across three continents. Born in Buffalo, NY, she entered Eastman's Pre-College School of Music at age four. By age ten, she had given two full solo recitals. The following year, she made her international debut at the Amalfi Coast Music and Arts Festival in Italy and the Gijon International Piano Festival in Spain, and won first prize at the Vincent Lenti Piano Competition. Recent highlights include appearances at the Bangalore International Center, the Palmetto International Piano Festival, and her Polish orchestral debut with the Szczecin Festival Philharmonic Orchestra. Aria has been honored by the Town of Amherst, NY for her dedication to the classical performing arts.
