Katie North Peck found a love for music at a young age first as an accomplished pianist and then as a vocalist. Her Grandmother, an Italian American, was an amateur singer and was a source of inspiration to Katie at a young age. She was introduced to opera at Queen's University where she took voice lessons while studying political science. She resumed her vocal studies after becoming a mother and finds singing classical music to be a wonderful creative outlet. She has given solo performances for Civic Morning Musicals and the Barrow Art Gallery Music Series, and been a featured soloist with the Syracuse Chamber Orchestra and the Masterworks Chorale.
