Artist Sponsorship: Brian Gadbow

Cellist Brian Gadbow is an active performer and educator based in Central New York, where he serves on the faculty of the Bard College Conservatory Preparatory Division. As the former cellist of the Abeo Quartet, he earned top prizes at the Yellow Springs, Chesapeake, and Bad Tölz international competitions. Brian has appeared as a soloist with the Syracuse Orchestra and performed at festivals including Music@Menlo and the Perlman Music Program. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Eastman School of Music and a Master’s from the University of Delaware, having studied with David Ying and Estelle Choi.
