Bio
Collin Holloway is a classical guitarist specializing in traditional and contemporary repertoire. He holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and the University of Kentucky, and completed private studies in Italy with composer Angelo Gilardino. Holloway has performed across the United States and Spain, appearing at festivals including Austin City Limits and CHAMBERart Madrid. In 2024, he premiered MalagueƱa de Jotron as a soloist with the Los Romeros Guitar Quartet.
His discography includes his solo debut, A Musical Portrait, and Experiments (2023) with The Muse Duo, an ensemble focused on new music for guitar and piano. As a collaborator, he has performed with the Juliani Ensemble and the Tallgrass Chamber Music Festival. Additionally, Holloway is the co-founder of the Off the Dock Chamber Festival in Skaneateles, New York. His work emphasizes expanding the guitar repertoire through the premiere and recording of works by underrepresented composers.
