Born in Italy and based near Syracuse, NY, Sean Penzo is a versatile composer, cellist, and writer. A co-founder of the nonprofit East Zodiac, Sean’s compositions have been performed internationally by ensembles such as the Akropolis Reed Quintet and Quartetto Zuena. He holds a Master’s in Music Composition and studied under mentors including Keith Fitch and Rob Deemer. Equally dedicated to performance, Sean is a frequent collaborator and studio musician, working with artists like Todd Hobin and The Junk Experiment.
